If you like the Icelandic Eddas and alliterative verse, you'll enjoy this poem. It was briefer than I had anticipated, though I'll grant expecting a professional author to devote enough time to produce a modern Beowulf is unreasonable. Mr. Park does an excellent job of capturing the feel of the old authors, showing a good grasp of the use of kennings without being so obscure that it loses a modern reader.
